1. Scooby Snacks now come in a fun new shape! Jumbo Triangles! The perimeter of each Scooby Snack is 51 cm. The 2 shorter sides differ by 3cm. The longest side is 5 cm less than the sum of the shorter sides. Find the length of each side.

2. The Scooby gang is trying to save up and buy a new Mystery Machine! The groovy van they have their eyes on costs $7500. If they invest $2500 at 6% interest compounded quarterly, how long will it take for the amount to triple?

3. A heart beats about once every second. About how many beats will Shaggy's heart have made by the time he is 78 years old?

4. Shaggy and Scooby entered a game show contest, hoping to win $5000 to buy their groovy new van. Their final question is a math problem. What is 6x cubed- 2x squared + 19x + 3 divided by 3x-2? Shag and Scoob answered 6x squared - 24x + 3 + (5/3x-2). Zoinks! Did they win the cash?

5. Jinkes! Velma discovered a new form of bacteria in her lab! It grew from 500 to 4000 bacteria in 1.5 hours. What was the constant K for the growth formula? (hint: y=ne^kt)
